It's all about looking the part
Yesterday one of the instructors couldn't make it for two of her classes. My boss asked me to do the Pump class while he tries to figure out who to replace the spinning session. Now after Pump, some of the aunties were raring to go on the bikes. And suggested to my boss that I should do the class. Of course, I know nuts about teaching spinning but after having attended a couple of em, I figure I can somehow fake it. As my colleague would always say, "Just whack only la!" (My spinning course is coming on next week by the way)
In this case, my ipod turned out REALLY really useful. So from Christina Aguilera's "What a Girl Wants (dedicated specially for the ladies) to Beyonce's "Crazy In Love", I went on a musical frenzy while trying to push em as hard as I could. Of course, I couldn't leave out U2. Rode a special mountain track to the tune of "Elevation". The most interesting part was when I played Newsboys Live version of "I am free" which is kinda like a fast worship song. Now that was funny.
This morning's Pump class was one of my better ones. (Not that I had many) I felt I "took it home" towards the end. I might actually have a career in this. We'll see. And no, I didn't wear a showy tanktop this time.
