| Alias September 16, 2005 03:14 PM PDT Between the two - I think you love the person you marry. Love is a choice. 50 yrs ago, people married the person not of their choice, but of someone elses. But through their union, their only choice was to learn and grow to love. Marriages back then lasted without even vowing 'till death do us part'. Today we have the the liberty of choosing those we think our hearts long for, only to have increasing rates of divorce. Simply because in the same way we choose to love, we choose also to stop loving. God gave us choice and sadly, sometimes we choose selfishly. It is better to choose to love, than to love to choose :) Bless you. | ||
| g September 16, 2005 12:56 PM PDT that's rather succinct and nice. care to elaborate? Let's say as time goes on, the person didn't turn out to be who you really love? | ||
| Winn September 15, 2005 10:50 PM PDT BOTH! you marry the person you love first. Then keep learning to love the person you marry. | ||
